We apparently do things backward in my family. My Papa is taking a nap, my mom is reading the paper and my sister is watching a movie. No idea what Dad is up to.
But we still haven’t had turkey.
We’re set to eat at about 3:30 p.m. and I can’t wait. We feasted on some cheese and crackers earlier, but I want some stuffing!
I finally tracked down the actual drink we had earlier. My sister celebrated the fact that she’s been 21 for three weeks now by picking out this year’s drink.
Ingredients: Champagne, cranberry juice and cointreau
Directions: Fill glass with three ounces of juice and mix in a shot of the cointreau. Top with champagne. Mix and enjoy!
