I’m not sure I believe the blog headline, but we’re going to go with it.
I wasn’t feeling particularly ambitious last night for dinner. It was really hot in my apartment and I just didn’t feel too adventurous.
Enter the following.
Ingredients: Two pieces of chicken sausage, one apple cored and sliced and balsamic vinegar
Directions: Warn the sausage in the frying pan (Mine was pre cooked) and then add apple. Cook until apples are slightly tender and cover with two tbsp of balsamic vinegar.

Yes, I was totally being lazy, but the result was fantastic. It was easy, fast and relatively healthy. Each chicken sausage is 160 calories with 7 grams of fat. An apple is roughly 100 calories and two tbsp of balsamic vinegar is 30 calories. That’s 450 calories total for the meal. Oh and did I tell you it tasted amazing? I called my sister right after to tell her about it because I think it would be a good college dinner.
