My Super Bowl baking/cooking became a “just bake something with whatever is in the pantry” experiment.
(I cut a piece to try before I’d let it cool, so the inside was still a little gooey from the peanut butter)
Ingredients: 1 stick butter creamed, 1 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup sugar, 3/4 brown sugar, 1 egg, 1 tsp baking soda, 1/2 cup peanut butter, 1 cup chocolate chips
Directions: Cream butter and mix in dry ingredients and egg. Finally add peanut butter, mixing it into the batter. Then fold in the chocolate chips.
Spray pan with Pam and then spread batter across it. Bake for about 23-25 minutes at 350 degrees.
How were they: They seemed to be a hit, though they are very sweet. But how can one hate the combo of peanut butter and chocolate?
