About

Hi and welcome to my blog!

I’m Kathleen, a 20-something (almost 30 – yikes!) living in Tallahassee, Fla.

I moved here in 2008 from Pennsylvania for my first real job out of school, working as a reporter for a startup called the News Service of Florida. I then went to work for the South Florida Sun Sentinel/Orlando Sentinel Tallahassee  office. And in November 2013, I decided to make a career switch and went to work for Florida State University.

I love to cook, read and travel. Most of those activities also involve my husband Gray. We just got married (!) and are settling into domestic bliss, or something like that. And in reality, the cooking only involves him in the sense that he is eating the food, like the huge pot of tomato basil soup I made the other day that he managed to finish in a few days on his own.

Hope you enjoy my little corner of the web. It’s my place to link to all my favorite recipes, recount some adventures and post photos.

Cheers!
